Yes — PVGIS data for Fife and Central Scotland shows 850–1,000 kWh/kWp annually. Combined with current energy prices, returns on solar investment are strong and continue to improve as bills rise.

The SEG requires licensed energy suppliers to pay you for electricity your solar panels generate and export back to the grid. Rates currently range from 4p to 15p per kWh depending on your supplier. See the rate comparison table on this page for current figures.

A typical residential installation takes 1–2 days. GSM handles scaffolding, installation, DNO notification, and grid connection — so there's nothing for you to arrange separately.

In most cases, solar panels on a pitched roof fall under Permitted Development rights and do not require planning permission. Listed buildings and conservation areas may require a separate planning application — GSM will advise during your free site survey.
