I contacted GSM Electrical Fife Ltd as I had a problem with the lights which kept tripping the fuse board. After speaking with customer services (who were very helpful and polite), they arranged for two electricians to visit my home to fix the problem. The electricians arrived within the hour, quickly diagnosed the issue, and replaced the broken lights. Brilliant service, great staff, would definitely use this company again.

Very quick in responding to my request. I was offered same day appointment which I unfortunately couldn’t manage, but I was able to make the time for the following day. I was told who to expect and at what time - Malcolm arrived promptly & completed the job, no issues. I’ve got some more DIY planned for early next year so will definitely use GSM again at that time.

I have used GSM several times now over the years, having been introduced to them by my joiner and lead contractor on my first house renovation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them due to the quality of the work undertaken and the friendly, personable service from the directors, tradespeople and the office team. They also have a professional and modern approach using technology i.e. keeping you updated on things like when the electrician is on the way, auto-acceptance of quotes (with everything detailed) and online invoice functionality. They have completed a range of work for me from smaller one-off jobs such as lighting and EICR testing through to electrical work required as part of an extensive renovation of a period home.

We have just had our solar panels and battery installed by GSM and I am happy to say that we made the right choice. The service given was highly professional from start to finish. The guys carrying out the work were very courteous, well mannered and a pleasure to have working in our house. There was minimal disruption and work areas were left spotless. I would also have to mention Greg who came out to talk us through everything and Evie for all the admin. The upshot is that we have a system working perfectly and doing everything we were told it would do and we would have no hesitation in recommending GSM to anybody.

I needed some Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) completed quickly. GSM were fabulous in making this happen. They did a great job!

Did research, and ended up with quotes from five companies, GSM offered us the best system for our budget, which covered everything we wanted, plus an extra we hadn't thought of. The process was smooth from start to finish, with good communication. Installation took two and a half days, with Lewis and Elliot doing a great job, leaving everything neat and tidy at the end, and explained how the system worked fully. Would certainly use GSM again, and would recommend them.

Solar and battery with EPS installed over 5 days. I did lots of research to identify an installer, getting quotes from 4 different companies across Glasgow & Edinburgh. GSM stood out by offerring good advice during the quotation stage as well paying attention to the details. Evie kept me informed of the process of my G99 application and was always happy to answer my queries as we neared the installation. During the install, the team were very efficient, tidy and on time. This was a complex install with plenty of opportunity to make mistakes or miss something out. So it made sense to pick an experienced company that had a proven track record, was backed by the relevant MCS and electrical trade bodies and had an office team to deal with the small mountain of paperwork that it generates. Overall the work has been done to a high standard and I'm very pleased with the end result and am happy to recommend GSM Electrical.
